This year’s Wigan Warriors Houses for Homes Coach Education programme will be launched with the Cronulla Sharks

Cronulla Sharks coaches Steve Price and James Shepard to lead workshop on Attacking and Defensive principles

All are welcome to attend workshop on Friday 17th February, 6-8pm at Central Park

The Wigan Warriors Houses for Homes Coach Education programme will start in 2017 with two of the Cronulla Sharks coaching staff giving an exclusive insight into attacking and defensive principles.

The workshop will be free to attend and take place at Central Park on Friday 17th February 6pm – 8pm, All coaches are welcome but must register in advance as places are limited.

Steve Price – A former Balmain and St George Dragons NRL player, Steve was assistant coach to Wayne Bennett with the St George-Illawara team that beat Wigan Warriors in the 2011 World Club Challenge, he took over as head coach of St George for the 2013 and 2014 seasons before joining Cronulla Sutherland Sharks and is now the current assistant coach to Shane Flanagan.

James Sheppard – Former eastern Suburbs Rooters player and College teacher, James joined the Cronulla Sutherland Sharks in 2011 following rolls with West Tigers and Melbourne storm. In 2014 he was elevated to caretaker coach for a short period following the departure of Peter Sharps and is the current Assistant coach to Shane Flanagan.

Martin Mcloughlin Foundation Manager said: “Learning from other coaches can be invaluable. In Steve and James we have two of the best right at the top of their game. Our workshops allow coaches to discuss scenarios, share ideas and learn from highly experienced subject specialists. Whatever your sport or coaching level our workshops will provide you with practical, hands on learning to develop your coaching.”
