Willow Project has been set up to provide counselling for young people. We offer a free service at two locations in the Wigan Borough.

We also offer a paying Service by paying for counselling we are able to arrange appointments at short notice.

We have a group for young people aged 12+ that meet every Monday from 6 to 8pm in a therapeutic setting, where we do activities, cook, learn about interesting things and plan day trips!

Counsellors are available to offer brief individual support during these sessions. We have limited places, so please ring if you are interested in joining us.

We also offer free counselling to parents and carers of young people who are currently being seen by us.

The club will be presenting along with our delivery partners a template for an off field provision in mental health and wellbeing for players, coaches and parents.  This a partnership in working with The Willow Project whom are doing a great job towards this agenda for the borough.

“Through a serious of adversities, Wigan St Patricks have met some great people that collectively have a network to offer some high quality provisions surrounding mental health and well-being.  It is a real passion and commitment of these people to make the best possible support available to as many players as possible.” - Anthony Atherton
